About

My story

I’m Andrei Sora, a UK-based guitarist and music producer.

Over the years, I have amassed over 3 million streams with the various artists that I've worked with, in genres ranging from indie, pop to alternative rock and metal. I've had the pleasure of working with BAFTA Award winning artists, had a top 10 song in Austria, and been featured on a plethora of playlists and radio stations worldwide. I have also worked on product review videos for companies such as Native Instruments, iZotope, Wavesfactory, Audiomodern, Hit N Mix, and others.

I started playing guitar when I was 12 years old (and got really into the shred scene, as one does at that age), and went all in. I played countless gigs, toured my native Romania, and composed and recorded virtuosic guitar music.

I obtained a BA (UNBM) in Music and Teaching, a Mst in Musicology (University of Oxford), and a PhD in Musicology (University of Surrey) in the process.
